Week 2- "Tuff Tray" Challenge

TEAM B- Chinese New Year 🎎🎎 In preparation for Chinese new year our preschool children were engaged in Chinese New Year art and craft experiences as they explored different elements of art. MARK MAKING TUFF TRAY 🖌🖌✏️✏️🖌🖌✏️✏️🖌🖌✏️✏️🖌🖌 For our tuff tray , we used salt and yellow food colouring, the children enjoyed seeing the change of colours of salt from yellow to orange over a period of time and then back to yellow again- The Delights of science !! We also looked at the numbers 1-10, with cards illustrating both English and Chinese numbers. Children used paint brushes (fine motor skills) to make marks / write numbers in Chinese and English.
