The children used their finger to feel the way the letter is written. This teaching is a multi sensory approach. ‘The child hears the sound of the letter, see it written in a letter form and will feel the way it is written’ . This will help the child develop a good way of writing.
We took a small group out to visit the pets at Pets at Home store. We bought an aquarium 🐠🐟and some other bits and pieces to kit it out for when we get our fish next week. Then it will be time to come up with some names for them......suggestions on a postcard please 🤓
We had the IT team 💻 come in today to take several small groups in turn to teach basic computer skills. They each got to use the keyboard mouse which is a skill we often forget with everything being touch screen these days. The keyboard was child friendly so children were able to read the phonic keyboard and pick out the significant letters of their names.
