We have been exploring how to make marks ✏️using different materials. We used glue, shaving foam , cornflour, flour, foil, paints, sand, crayons, cotton reels, play dough and food colouring. The children were very interested in the different textures of the mixture!
“Since it’s Australia Day on Friday I thought I’d take the kids #BuildingBlocksPreschool: Walton-on-Thames on a little trip down under to learn about the amazing wildlife there and how we can mimic and learn from the animals through yoga poses! Bring familiar with cultural differences in the world helps build acceptance, tolerance and above all interest in how other people in the world live bringing our World together as a community” 😊🙏🏼❤️🌏
We all had so much fun choosing different books to read, we even found some special books that had lots of bumps in them, our teacher explained that this was called Braille and it is used to help friends who can't see to enjoy reading stories!
We then went to the coffee shop where we had baby-chinos to keep us warm 🥛🥛
